Location: Airplane, Yokosuka

We Flew Thai airlines. In my opinion, a great airline with excellent service. The flight was 13 hours to Japan.

Introducing the heroes of our story...well, their friends, anyway-Mikey and Michelle.

And now the real heroes...you can tell we are heroes by our rugged good looks and bulging muscles as we set out to conquer Japan.

In gas stations, the nozzles come from the ceiling. We thought it was cool. You should too.

Look! Elevators for Cars! Brings a whole new meaning to the term "stack parking"   In Japanese, this quality dining establishment is pronounced Makudonarudo. This is the hardest word in the japanese language. Ever.
This is the coolest drink ever. How would you like to have a fridge full of Sweat? No? How about Calpis?   One of the strangely named drinks in Japan.
He is one of the rooms in Mike's (note the absence of a y...Mikey is a different person) apartment in Yokosuka. Mike is in the Navy and is stationed in Yokosuka. He sleeps on the floor. Sucker.   These are the cat and spider stairs...so called because at 4 in the morning, when we usually walked down them on the way to the train, guess what we saw.
Same thing...so we like taking extra pictures...sue us.   This is a door. More specifically, the door to Mike's apartment, but from the inside.
This is Mike's washer and dryer. You will notice that like the japanese people, they machines are tiny, efficient, and completely incomprehensible to americans...we could not do our laundry in this machine no matter how many times we tried.   Views from the balcony of Mike's apartment
  see above
Look! A gratuitous giant robot advertising a clothing line that went out of fashion in the U.S. in the 90's. We must take a picture said our heroes!   A picture by a giant Stussy figure we found to be interesting.
At last...our first meal in Japan...or at least the first we let you see us eating. Mwahahahahaha   Our heroes take a break from their hard vacationing to play a Taiko Drumming video game. More on Taiko later, but think of this as Drum Drum Revolution.
3600 miles from home...and we go to the mall. However, you gotta admit...we look damn good. Especially Andy and Josh, the sexiest white people in the whole mall.   Our very first shuttle/train ride in Japan...still new and exciting using public transportation.
Michelle and Josh, the two Japanese speakers, or so we styled ourselves...riding the train.
